looking to buy PS2
just for playing gran turismo 3 or 4

is there a serial number everyone prefer , for durability , last longer or easier to mod ?
I am going to find used ps2 in craigslist or RS

Now it's been a looooooong ass time since I had a PS2 but if I remember correctly anything ending with 3001 is good. But now a days I don't think it really matters much haha.

Do a search on Google for PS2 failures on the laser/reader. I bought one on RS only to find out that the laser was defective and I had to send it to Sony Canada to get it replaced.

I dont know what model mine is, but its a fat 1. I had it repaired at Sony under warrenty and then i used it for like 10 hours tops after that. I have gran turismo 3 & 4 + some other games if you want to pick it up for $60.

I got PS2 and GT3 already .. it is Version 4
I bought it off craigslist yesterday

I'll be interested to get GT4 if want to sell it separately

Isnt this a myth? There were rumours of price drop for the longest time but it never happened

People still buy ps2? Great, i have a chance of selling mine. I can only get $20 credit from EB
