The Staple Clothing collection was founded in 1997, Jeff Ng started it (by accident) at Parsons School of Design on the 4th floor Silkscreen Lab. Shirts were prohibited from being printed on, but that didn't stop Jeff. Night after night he snuck in with his friend and a pillowcase of blank tees. It started with a 12 piece t-shirt order. 12 became 24. 24 became 36. It just kept snowballing. That same snowball exists today. And the independent spirit behind the brand remains the same today.
