i bought 3 boxes at liquidation world ... wen it was on sale a few weeks ago ... its alright ... its just a hose .. u still have to use a sponge and wash ur car ... its pretyt good if u need a quick wash.. just use that hose thign to spray ur whole car with soap .. and give it a quick rub down .. down rinse it with its none sudding filter water

^ I should go get more. I'm not even sure if they sell the filters anymore. I know they sell the soap.

liquidation world does have it about 1 dollar cheaper then xs cargo.

i bought 1 to try it and .... i think its good for the fact that it sprays soap out:) only bad thing is that once the filter runs out, you have to buy new ones and they are quite pricey.

i havent tried it on a hot sunny day yet so the "no water marks" mist spray take action yet.

holy....are you guys that lazy to not get out 2 buckets of water and some decent car-conditioning soap???.....im kinda skeptical about their soaps.....

almost gimick here....who is gonna really let the car "self-dry"....it takes an extra 10 mins to dry your car off with a micro-fibre towel....

eFx[A2C]

there is no drying because the water is filtered, so technically it dries with no water spots.

Just tried it and I thought it was pretty decent. The autodry thing worked pretty well for me.

Works like a charm. It really is a Touchless dry. I have no idea how the filter causes the water to bead and just fly off the car. I mean, it just looks like a couple of sponges..

Crap that is cheap, the filter alone costs more than that at Cambodian Tire!

how much are re-fills?

slammer111

Isn't the soap bottle (lasts maybe 30 washes) $7, and the filter (10 washes according to label) $8 otherwise?

I can totally understand why everyone's loading up on these guys.

Lol
I'm too cheap
I was about to go pick one up to try, but i decided to just pull the car around and washed my car with what i had in the garage.

Does anyone buy the refills or just throw that plastic sprayer unit away?

^ Anyone know how much they're selling the filters and soap for @ XS? Hopefully they're selling 'em separately and not a box with the whole spray gun.

they also have 3m performance finish wax for 3.99

shit works pretty good, online reviews say its worth the 12.99

so at 3.99.... you do the math :)

Fafine
06-14-2010, 03:24 PM
can you apply the finish wax by hand?

Qmx323
06-14-2010, 03:34 PM
yep the instructions have 2 parts

one for machine buffer and one by hand.

its really easy to use and at 3.99 u cant go wrong lol

Okay guys, so I had a chance to swing by XS Cargo out on Grandview + Renfrew today.

The Mr. Clean starter kit consists of that water gun thing with a Starter Filter and Starter Soap (3 uses for each). It's $8, which is admittedly quite cheap.

The full-deal (10 uses) filters are also $8, which is the same as Canadian Tire last time I checked. I didn't see any soap at XS but at CT I think it's $6-7 a bottle.

I've been happily using this thing for the last few years and can say it definitely works. The only problem is the cost of the refills. I still have a ton of soap left but man, those filters do not last too long.

This thing reminds me of computer printers ya know? ;)

for some reason i hate using it....always leaves a nasty film on my car and i dont like to wait for my cars to dry...although i'd like to give it another go just for the filtered rinse...

You, sir, should return those boxes of car wash and pay for English lessons instead. And if you're lucky, Vanna White may throw in a couple vowels too. God knows you need them.

Been using it for a while now, but I prefer the PRO version. The sprayer is black in colour and its got a more powerful stream nozzle to rinse off the dirt on the initial spray down of the car. It totally works, saves me a lot of time from drying.

Would it be possible to use it to only rinse your car with the filter and water, and not use the soap and have the same results with the drying?

ahhhh there is a place I went to last week and paid $5 for the same thing and lots of stock.
Cross the bridge into Surrey first right onto 152. Left at 104 drive half a block on your right hand side. I cant remember the addy but they have tons of tools and stuff as well.
