If you want an "awesome interior" or "practicality" or "space" or even "comfort", go buy that Bimmer. The Elise is in a class of its own... and it's better for it.

But the thing is, the Elise is function-over-form; purely a drivers' car for people who put handling and driving pleasure as a priority and looks as secondary.

Frankly, I love it even more because of that. Only those who are 'in the know,' will appreciate the Elise. I like it more than the new Evora, which is just so toned down, and looks like a take-off on the Tesla.
