Seriously discuss. After sitting at olympia for 15 minutes watching drunks vomit, take their shirts off, and smash into fences and get into fights no wonder why vancouver's party scene sucks to most people.
Because 99% of vancouverites can not handle their liquor.

I hate people who are like that. If you're gonna puke and stuff you're just gonna mess up your friend's floor/carpet or be an inconvenience when people have to take care of you. Nobody wants to be chilling next to you and then all of a sudden you start hurling chunks out of nowhere (happened one time at a friend's house on their carpet and we had to clean it up)
If you can't handle your liquor, then why drink so much to begin with? Or are a lot of people innately bulimic and so enjoy the spewing aftermath because some people literally repeat this every week. Retarded IMO

So true.
It happened at one of my friends house a couple of times. One of my friend was sitting on hit couch and he suddenly hurled all over the wall behind the couch.
Another time at the same house, my friend (the owner) let's one of our friend sleep on his bed, and he hurled on his bed.
I mean, how the fuck can you not know when you're gonna throw up. Prior to throwing up, you should already feel sick and bloated and uncomfortable. By then, you should be in the washroom.
I don't think I've ever throw up just out of the blue on someone's carpet or bed. Usually I get so drunk that I pass out, and if I have to hurl, I won't be able to sleep or lie down because I just get the feeling that shit in my stomach needs to come out. I would be in the washroom already trying to get it out.

I have only puked from drinking 3 times, and I can remember all of them very well.
1) When I was 16, bought vodka, drank the whole bottle. Not a big fan of vodka any more.
2) When I was 17, stole a bottle of moonshine (seriously). Thinking back, I was probably close to dead that night, passed out in a treehouse, in a puddle of my own puke.
3) Was drinking with some Asians, and they wouldn't drink their beer. So I ended up drinking everyone's beer. Don't know how this worked, I was drunk at the time. I was fine until the middle of the night, when I puked and passed out in the bathroom. My gf thought I was dead :lol

I find wat ur talking about to be entertaining lol lol u dont think bums gettin fucked hammed and fighting and shit is funny?
Personally I find it really hard to stop drinking once i have started. I like to drink smirnoff blue label(50% alcohol) and it has a nasty habit of making me blackout. I always feel like im not quite drunk enuf and then before I know it its the next day and I dont remember shit lol.Im getting a little better at stopping myself before i get to the blackout stage. Last time drinking was with my buddy at Cultus and we shared a 26 of smirnoff blue label and for once I was coherent and remembered everythign the next day!!! so proud of myself!!
I have never puked on sumeones floor, I almost did at a party in abby when i drank 3/4 of a 40 of crown royal but I put my hands up to my mouth and sealed that fucker off, ran to the washroom, sumone was in it so I ran to the other side of the hosue and puked outside for a couple hours lol. good times

no, vancouver's party scene sucks because there are too many gang bangers acting tough that mess up the scene. Fuk seriously, if you want to act tough, go do that shit at each other's houses, not in a public place that's SUPPOSED to be fun. I have enough stress at work to have to deal with you losers when im trying to relax. Seriously, if they're REAL hardcore, they'd do it for the money, not to look 'hard' to complete strangers on the street. grow the fuk up, i can care less who your buddies with or know someone whos a buddy of ur distant relative. THATS what fuks the vancouver party scene

because the guy's a pussy.
It's easy to be a tough guy when your buddies are holding you back, and conversely, it's easy to be a tough guy when the cops are there ready to break it up.
I remember guys like that back in the day. Quiet as a pillow, until the cops arrive, and tell them to leave. Then they get home and brag about how the other guy is lucky the cops showed up, or he'd be in trouble.

exactly, people who frequently have problems at clubs are either A) Causing the problems themselves, or B) constantly going to the wrong places
i worked at 3 different clubs for about 2 years, never once was there ever a "major" problem, and the amount of actual fights that i saw i could count on 2 hands probably
places like Roxy dont have huge fights break out.

I've yacked numerous of times at house parties where everyone is just going hard. But at a club, give your head a shake... no need to get that hammed, especially if you're trying to get a lay.

Among white folks yes. But white folks vs non white folks, I've seen more of those altercations. It's usually the white folks being a bit drunk and the non-white fellas taking the situation too seriously and too personal.

vancouvers' party scene is stupid because of last call and lack of booze from a store past 11pm.
no one has to binge drink like a tard if you can just leave the club/bar and grab a few brews on the way home. instead of "oh shit, it's last call, i'll have a pitcher and a few shots"
and quite frankly alcohol impairs judgment and some folks don't know their limits. stfu. no one cares. we've all seen crazy shit by drunk folks. you're not special. if it happens all the time go to differen places. but when you're downtown, you're at ground zero. so stfu again. it's not like there an infestation of drunks in your hood or apartment building yakking all over the place.
besides, watching idiot drunks do idiot things is fucking entertaining.

You could say this about any other city in North America (and to a certain extent, the UK.) Alcohol is treated as a taboo commodity until the age of 19-21. Continental Europe doesn't seem to have problems with binge drinking (British tourists in Prague notwithstanding.)
so stfu again. it's not like there an infestation of drunks in your hood or apartment building yakking all over the place.

I agree...when drunk fucks are yelling/turning up their shitty car music at 230am on a tuesday night after clubbing, it will make you want to chuck beer bottles at them from the 20th floor.
