I came across this program reading a friend's site (http://www.johnchow.com/) (he knows a thing or two about making money online) and decided to share it with everyone here. I'm sure there are a lot of RSers curious what all the steps are to building a site, filling it with content, getting traffic, and making money with it.
The best thing about this program (called "Number One Way to Make Money Online (http://www.revscene.net/offers/go.php?id=26)") is that they separate everything into 9 easy to follow steps. If you follow the 9 modules, you will absolutely be on the way to making money with a content based website. There are RSers here that have been making a living doing this for over 10 years by the way ;)
The Number 1 Way To Make Money Online (http://www.revscene.net/offers/go.php?id=26) is divided into nine easy to follow steps:
Step 1 will help you pick your markets.
Step 2 will help you research that market and plan a website.
Step 3 will help you create the content for that site.
Step 4 will help you build that site.
Step 5 will help you market that site.
Step 6 will help you manage that site over the longer term.
Step 7 will illustrate to you how easy it is to build 10 once you’ve built one.
Step 8 will introduce you to the concept and value of outsourcing.
Step 9 will introduce you to useful tools and resources related to this model.
The concept of The Number 1 Way To Make Money Online (http://www.revscene.net/offers/go.php?id=26) is simple but extremely effective. You build a small content driven affiliate site that gets its traffic from search engines and makes its money from affiliate programs. A properly created niche site can make money for years without any additional input. Build 10 of these, and you'll make some pretty good money. Here is an example of such a site (http://www.buildsilentpc.com/), that was started about 8 years ago (IIRC). Here's another example (http://www.widescreengamer.com/).
With a niche site, you can just fill it with some info, and keep it updated occasionally. Using the guide, you will learn how to get traffic to it. The best part is, if you have something that you are interested in, it won't be considered "work" to write about that topic. Consider the two examples I showed above.
The program only costs $44.95 (LOWERED TO $24.95), and unlike some of the other things promoted here (;)), you will not be 'encouraged' to buy products from them. Everything is on the up-and-up, it's just a guide (I have seen it myself, it's easy to read, all web-based, and without ridiculous pitches and claims).
Check it out! (http://www.revscene.net/offers/go.php?id=26)
