I am currently suffering from a combination of esophagitis and hiatal hernia. Before, it was very difficult for me to eat big meals and avoid fatty foods and other foods that raise the stomach acid. But now it has gotten worse! even when i eat small meals or drink water quickly my esophagus starts hurting and difficulty breathing.

anyone else share this unfortunate experience with me?

too much stress causing acid reflux?

. try eating crackers
.. and try OTC antacids or GI products (Tums/Pepto-Bismol)
... if that doesn't control acid, then see doctor to check if its a bac. infect.
.... if not bacterial infection try cimetidine ( Rx)
..... try pariet (Rx)
...... or omeprazole or Nexium (Rx)
