I've been getting calls from this number recently (2-3 times a day) and when I pick up, no 1 answers. After like 10 seconds, a computer voice will say, "Goodbye".

What's up with that? Anyone get calls from the same number?

This company has called us numerous times, despite being asked to eliminate our number from their scam calling system. The guy I spoke to today claimed that Merchant Cash Direct was NOT a Visa/MC processor, but rather a broker who was proposing to work with our current provider to get rates about 1/2 of what we are currently paying. They are a processor, according to their website. When I confronted the caller with this information, he indicated that the processing function was another arm of their company. lWhen I suggested that he had lied to me, he became quite defensive, at which time I suggested that he remove our number from his system. I suspect they my call again......?????

I keep getting calls from 1-416-645-2105. I always ignore it. It's been calling me everyday for the past month. Sometimes 2-3 times a day.....annoying as fuck. Seems like it only affects Rogers customers. :/ Plus it always goes to voicemail.

this company has called on multiple occasions... i always end up in an argument asking them to take me off their call list AND to get their information... of course on both occasions they either told me no or we can't do that...

And in both cases they sounded like they had kids running around in the background... a type of home based get rich quick scheme... they either say merchant cash direct and we are a member of the canadian merchant association or they say they are directly with the canadian merchant association...

I used to get phone calls every day at least twice a day from 1-877-622-2662. The time I actually chose to pick up it connected me to some lady who said she was from Fido and asked to speak to my mom (I'm with Fido and all our accounts happen to be under her name). I just asked the lady to put me on the do-not-call list because it was annoying getting called everyday. Surprisingly, I haven't got a call since.

514 201 9988 - scammer leaves BS messages and asks you to call back.

1-800 320 9557 - tries to sell your items as a middleman.

i never answered or called them back. i just googled the #'s

rule of thumb: never answer or they know its a "live" phone #. never call back, you could be charged long distance fees.

:mad: I got multiple calls from those A-Holes, too :2finger: They said they are Canadian Merchant Association and then said recently VISA & MC adjust their rate and want to check your rate to make sure they give you the new discount.

Sometimes I gradually talk quieter and quieter and end with a shriek into the receiver.

I havent been disturbed for a while now...:)
