: Suns versus Blazers at GM Place - October 22

I'm very excited and will grab top-notch tickets for sure.

The 2007 exhibition game between the Suns and Sonics in 2007 sold out super quick so I'm sure there will be a great crowd again.

Steve Nash is such a classy person.

It hurt to lose the Grizzlies and it hurt to lose the Sonics and while this doesn't make up for it it's always very special to see NBA basketball at GM Place.

Agree totally. I went to the game 2 years ago and several games in Seattle and Portland over the last 4 years. Going to this one for sure!

pre-season. i imagine summer league'rs and various other scrubs will play trying to make the cut. I'm sure nash will play some though b/c it's canada.

i was hoping no one would know about this so i can get top notch seats :p

I will go just b/c I haven't seen a basketball game since Sonics left. I went to the pre-season two years ago and it was pretty weak...althought it was cool when the Phoenix bench joined in the wave :D

Notes about the game:

- Brandon Roy is a 1st team all nba. Just wow.

- I feel sorry for Oden, the dude's knees/legs are fucked up. Another 1st pick bust.

- Nate McMillan tried his best to make it a close game, playing his second stringers the most. However, Phoenix is just terrible this year.

The second half for them was brutal.

The forwards for the Blazers literally owned the Suns in the post tonight.

Even though it was just an exhibition game, it was still nice to see bball in Vancouver. The place was sold out, which i think is pretty impressive.

Phoenix has, and always have had, a horrible front court when in comes to rebounding. They give up O-boards like they just don't care, and don't box-out well. Actually i'm mostly speaking about Amare. The guy is one of the laziest, and most desire lacking guys i've ever watched. Every year is the same with him on the defensive end.
