but the funny part is they told me somebody already cashed it out!! WTF

if the receiving person's name is me, and say someone else cash it out. WOuldnt their bank reject it since it doesnt match?

No i didnt get thru the bank automatically like some people, i always get a cheque in the mail

Not if the person who stole it forged your signature on the back of the cheque making it look like you endorsed it. That's how they are able to cash it with your name on it
