I feel annoyed and tired all day except for when I'm at school.
AC on at full blast is awesome, until you head out into the sun then it burns so much more.

I don't have A/C but I seriously haven't had one sleepless night. I have a ceiling fan in my room, that's it that all. I've been sleeping like a baby but a little but more sweaty.

I leave all my blinds and windows shut until about 9:00 then I open them up, close them again in the morning.

I used to sleep 6.5 hours a night... now its more like 5... It's impossible, Get an AC and a blanket, it works well, keeps temp consistent, i wake up at 3am or 5am it sucks, otherwise Sleep in your basement if u have one!

Or you can get a few ice packs, wrap a cloth around it and hug it

If you have a basement, sleep there, my basement is at least 5 degrees cooler.

My girlfriend just came back from Disneyland and she got me this spray water bottle with a battery powered fan. This thing is awesome!!

If that happens to me again I'm taking your advice. My car is AC'd up and even though it's a hyundai, has pretty damn strong AC. a 3am criuse to nowhere might put me to sleep.

yea, people hold out year after year but the last few summers a/c units everywhere has been sold out. eventually most ppl will have it, and this summer's heat might have sealed the deal for a lot of ppl who were on the fence.

Sleep in the lviing room next to the banlocy with the balcony doors open and 3 fans blowing at me =D.

Also it helps to take a cold shower before u sleep.

Wednesday night was the absolute worst. I got an air conditioner just for my son's room and I couldn't fall asleep in his rocking chair, or on the floor, so I went back to my room and tried to sleep. AC was never needed in the 90s. None of those apartments /house built in the 90s and earlier 00s have space for wall mount / split mount AC. Most stratas I know even prohibited tenants to install AC for noise and building appearance reasons.

Let's say I want an AC (not portable one) unit in my suite...how do you deal with it?
