sorry for bumping this old thread, i dont want to create another thread...

so my mom's computer got this trojan called Total Security 2009.....anyone know how to get rid of it?

i was just reading up on it and it states that it acts like a legit program trying to scare you into buying their product so they can steal your credit card info once you input it...
my mom is thinking of calling the credit card company and canceling them...but i don't think this is necessary is it?
