of our town. She wanted to get photos of the woods and wildlife as naturally as could for her portfolio. She wasn't afraid of being alone, as she

had camped by herself many times before. She set up a tent in the middle of a small clearing and spent the day taking pictures. She filled up

four rolls of film on that trip, but something was strange about them. What she saw in those pictures has stayed with her ever since, and she is

still trying to recover from the trauma the have caused her.

Almost every picture was accounted for, save for one picture in each roll of film. These pictures were of her, asleep in her tent in the middle of

edit: Finally remembered what the book was called. It was one of those "Eye Witness" hardcover books and had some creepy stuff in it.

The appearances in Bélmez began on August 23, 1971, when María Gómez Cámara claimed that a human face formed spontaneously on her cement kitchen floor. The mayor of Bélmez was informed and forbade the destruction of the new face. Instead, the floor cement was cut out and taken for study.

María's home, advertised to the tourists as La Casa de las Caras (The House of the Faces), was built in the 19th century. An excavation, conducted under the location of the house, revealed human remains, which were removed. However, this did not stop the purported phenomenon. By Easter of 1972 hundreds of people were flocking to the house to see the faces. For the next 30 years the Pereira family claimed that faces continued to appear. The woman at the desk gave him his key and all, and told him that on the way to his room, there was a door with no number that was locked and no one was allowed in there. There was a crew working the closing shift during one night. Everything was going fine with nothing out of the ordinary. As they're closing up the place (finishing setting up tables etc.) all the lights went out. All the workers were obviously a little freaked out so they all called for each other and decided to hold onto each other's hands while they went to the power box to double check wtf was going on. They all made their way down to the power box. The manager/supervisor on duty flipped some switches and the power was back on.

He looked around after the lights were on and he was by himself. It turns out that everybody was holding a different "hand" and the hands led each co-worker to a different location within the restaurant.
