I agree. I'd do a practice run at home first, but I think its definitely doable. The key is to practice - Takeru Kobayashi and the other competition eaters practice by eating massive meals followed by starvation of a day or two followed by another massive meal - this stretching and starvation causes the intestinal walls to become much more elastic to accommodate larger volumes of food. I once ate two large bowls at one sitting years ago, so I'm quite confident I could finish quite a bit if not all of this.

Actually, the main way those guys enlarge their stomachs is by going on binges of club soda. It's just carbonated water, so it expands their stomach without making them get fat.
