Where I work we tell all new trainee's not as a warning that we might find out, but as a life lesson, to be careful what you post online.
So far 2 people I know of fired cause of what they wrote online. and this is before facebook.
With facebook it's easy to catch people calling in sick and then going out to party. haha.
Or, the smartest one of all time, call in sick, then invite your boss to your party that night.
