| Pipe Bomb at Metrotown Parkade
Drove by wondering what happened at metro.
found this
BURNABY (NEWS1130) - RCMP say a pipe bomb was located in a parkade at the southeast corner of Metrotown and they've closed the intersection of McKay and Central in Burnaby. Police say it was located in a parkade behind the Bread Garden restaurant. Police are keeping the area clear and the Emergency Disposal Unit is on scene to deal with the device.
Buses are currently being re-routed away from the area and traffic is at a standstill. The adjacent mall has not been evacuated. Stay tuned to News1130 for updates on this developing story, and for traffic updates in the area.
