what's the best way to commute from new west to richmond, and back?
1)marine drive and cross knight st bdg
2)take queensboroug bdg and take 91
google map says 1) is shorter by 3km but 2) takes less time since it's hwy
how are these two routes during rush hour, morning and afternoon?

Usually the slowest part is New West when there's a lot of trucks on the road.
But seeing as how you're in New West already, you can't avoid it. It's basically the same path except different exits for Queensborough and Marine Dr. I would most likely take Queensborough.

QB just coz it feels like you are rolling through less lights.
get this. In the morning it jams going into Richmond and in the afternoon it jams going out to Westminster just like clockwork, so plan around that.
heading into newwest from QB around 330~600 are the worse

the best way to get there is in a 300hp r32 skyline GTR VRRROOOMMM!!
from new west, take 10th street all the way down til it meets up with columbia again near the queensborough bridge.
thats a hell lot faster than trying to drive down columbia street because you also have to deal with semi truck traffic.

NewWest to Richmond travel time:
300hp R32 takes 32mins
70hp Geo Metro takes 32mins 2seconds
stuck in traffic sucks

marine way has a lot of stop lights...i'd take the hwy 91 route
I always take Highway 91. Even though going by Marine Drive may be shorter, it takes longer and in the end you're paying more for gas.
