LF: 1U Rackmount Server Chassis

I'm looking for a 1U server case that will hold a CD Rom drive and 2 hard drives.
I found one on eBay for for $65 what comes with a PS and CD Rom drive but shipping is $80. Anyone have a idea were i could get one for cheaper?

You have a CPU and heatsink that will fit in the 1U?

I have no parts for the build yet. Might go for a 2u case if I can't get a 1u case.

Just buy Celeron 860 from Dell, and replace the CPU with something better (if you even have to). Many standard desktop ATX boards won't fit in a 1U case, even if it's an ATX case. I stuck a Gigabyte motherboard in one, and I literally had to rip the headphone ports right off the board It's still running to this day though!

I'll probably be selling one or two of my Dells in a couple months.

2U, you can pretty much use all standard PC components. 1U, you need specialized low profile CPU and heatsink combo, plus as Skinny mentioned, may have motherboard compatibility issues.

Now I'm thinking about buying a used server off e-bay. something like this:http://cgi.ebay.com/DELL-Poweredge-S...d=p3286.c0.m14

Anything I should know about? Will i be able to put in a 1 tb hd without any problems?

This the requirements for the DJ software I will be using on this system:

Recommended system specifications
Windows XP (SP2)** 2.4GHz single CPU or greater, 2GB RAM, 7200RPM or faster Hard Drive w/ 2GB of free space

I have run this software on a single core Intel Atom CPU.

Edit I also found this one: http://cgi.ebay.com/Dell-PowerEdge-8...d=p3286.c0.m14

Yup, those would be more than sufficient. It's easy to install hard drives in them. Keep in mind, they are loud as fuck.
