Shipping company for big loads?

I'm trying to ship about 500 lbs of stuff to the east, things like books, clothes, electronics. I have 2 full sized luggage, 2 bins packed with books....etc... you get the idea.

Now I'd like to know who to use to ship all this for a good price, preferably a specialty company that deals specifically with larger loads. I have a feeling if I use the regular companies like UPS or Fed Ex it will be very overpriced.

thanks

any moving companys will do it, and 500lbs is not really a big load to them either.

Just open up the yellow page and ask for a quote.

Cf would be the bestway to go, put it all on a pallet and ship it that way. Other then them
There is roadway/reimer which is pretty good as well.

Reimer is good if you have everything on pallet. But you have to consider you pay extra for a lift gate and another $100 or so for the pallet.

If everything is luggable.. eg books try Canada post.. I think it was 50 bucks for 70 odd pounds from TO to here.. I think the was the cheapest for non movers..
