There's a video included for anyone that is lazy to read the article. Most of these cases I wouldn't think too much of it because the person being tasered might have been a little irrational which gave police a reason to use a taser but man this one takes the cake imo.

Although she did get out of her car which was the wrong thing to do she didn't pose any threat. Also she only got out of the car because she felt like the cop was bullshitting her into receiving a ticket. I mean shes a mom with 2 kids in the car.. yet she got tasered.

How hard is it to listen to the police officer? Tasering her was excessive, but come on just do what he says...

If I am a cop, I pull someone over for whatever reason and about to give him/her a ticket, and he/she get out of the car?

I will feel threatened.

Fail at what?

Just don't use the word because it's trendy...........

Back to the story. There's a time and place for arguing your case to the authorities. It is in court. Get the ticket and dispute it. Take the time to write down everything that matters and get witnesses if you can. Getting tasered and hauled off to jail is dumb. Tasering this woman was not cool, but she was being a bitch.

At the scene, the cop may have felt threatened by the woman getting out of her van after she was instructed to stay inside the vehicle. It is after wards, when we watched the video and listen to what that woman had to say, that we felt the cop's actions were excessive.

Cop was within his rights. Dont listen to a cop even if its simple stuff, you're bound to get something bad done to you :)

Like 89blkcivic, she shouldn't have argued her case on the road side. And the problem was, the cop informed her that she was under arrest and then she tried to walk back into the car.
