Replacing 42" Lcd screen
I was given a Toshiba Regza tv by my brother. His kids threw something at it  Is there a company out there that will come to your house and replace the screen? the tv is worth $1300 so I am willing to fork over $600 to get it fixed. thanks.

I'm pretty sure the kids threw something at the TV and his brother decided to give it to him to fix for free instead of just scrapping it.

^ how I understand it too.
try looking for one used that has a damaged circuit or burned out bulb or something, and swipe the screen from that. or swap your working parts over.

It's pretty much never worth it to get LCD panels fixed.
Most of the cost of the unit to begin with is the LCD panel...

^ thats why you look for another busted one, pick it up cheap, swap parts as needed, and you've now got a sweet TV for dirt cheap, and a bunch of spare parts. the tricky part is finding a model with a compatible screen, the good part is half the manufacturers use the same screens so there's probably 20 TV's you could jack the actual screen from.
