Fuji's FinePiX Viewer problem

i got a fuji f200exr, and this fuji's finepix viewer is getting very annoying

so what happend is that the program tend to re-save ALL the pic that i have in the memory card, instead of the saving the pic the havent been saved

i have upgraded to the latest version, and already check the setting on "dont save the same files" box, but doesnt seem to be working

one thing is that this re-save tend to happen when i change the folder's name, for example i first saved the pic under the folder of 2009_0820, if i change the folder name to "2009_0820 beach fun" later on, and the next time the camera will save all the images from "2009_0820" to the computer again

very annoying, any solutions?

i really miss canon's zoomEX

Why not just clear your card after you have downloaded them?

Don't use the software. Just move the files manually.

I never use any software that comes with the camera as a "bundle". A lot of it is useless (I don't know about higher end cameras or what they come with). I always transfer files manually (using windows explorer/sometimes light room). I find that works best. And you technically should be formatting your card after every shoot. Not just deleting files from it.

That tends to be much slower than using a dedicated card reader.

not hard, but if a program can help me to sort all the pictures into different date folders from my 3 week trips with a few clicks of bottom, then i will pick the program

finepicviewer program is just bad

i have used canon for 8 years before Fuji, canon's zoom brower EX is really smooth

Well depends on the cameras USB interface. But it's close to his original steps and he might not own a cardreader.

Lightroom or Aperture will your best friend then.

Or you can just sort the files by date and put them into folders manually....not that hard.
