Good Cordless Laser Mouse

Can anybody recommend me a good Cordless Laser Mouse? I really don't know what specs to look for in a mouse. My budget is $50 give and take.

I currently have this http://www.ncix.com/products/index.p...ture=Microsoft but the wheel on it is busted and the warranty has expired. I don't want to buy the same one for $45 when I bought the matching keyboard and mouse for $70 (tax in) as a package.

How are these? http://www.ncix.com/products/index.p...cture=Logitech

http://www.anitec.ca/product/6810/lo...ck-931642-0215

I'm just wondering what kinda specs I need to look for and if anybody knows of a good deal for a good mouse. I play games on PC once in a while so I'm not a HARDCORE gamer, something decent for gaming/browsing.

TIA

I have a Logitech VX Nano and absolutely love it, I'm not sure if you're on a desktop or laptop but the receiver is tiny which is great for laptops, also fully customizable key layout which I think gets stored in the mouse so you dont have to keep doing it if you switch computers. Also the scroll wheel can be flipped between regular "geared" feeling and feeling perfectly smooth, great for zipping down to the bottom of the white girls thread with a single flick.

Notebook just means it's smaller and more portable.

Right now I'm using a Logitech MX Revolution at work. It's great, the scroll wheel is awesome, when you scroll slowly it clicks, but when you scroll faster it switches to a free spin mode. Once you use this, you'll never want a normal scroll wheel.

I think the next mouse I'll get for myself will be the VX Nano. I like a smaller mouse and VX nano has the same awesome scroll wheel from the MX.

I recently bought the Micro$oft Arc Mouse. I like how it folds up.

i got myself the microsoft arc mouse for 30 bucks
pretty good for the price. i considered the vx nano but that thing is just insanely expensive for a laptop mouse. you can buy a whole desktop keyboard set for that price.

and not having to deal with logitech's shitty setpoint software is a plus

i'd never cheap out on a mouse that i use for hours a day

currently using a vx nano and and what looks to be a mx620 mouse/kb combo

ergonomics is the most important thing imo. i've installed setpoint and i've also tried it w/o setpoint. i'd say install it only if you can't connect the devices.

that arc mouse is so painful to use. nice piece of art tho.

Isn't a notebook mouse too small for desktop use? I guess i'll have to wait for a good deal on a desktop mouse. I really can't justify spending $100 on a mouse as for right now.

What is setpoint and how does it work?

you can use any mouse for whatever you like, laptop mice sometimes tend to be a bit smaller and have different receivers than desktops but apart from that...

Laptop mice generally lack palm support and are uncomfortable to use for longer periods of time (unless you have small hands).

My recommendation would be the MX620 ... You can find it for around $50 ...

You need to go to FS or BB to try some of these mice.

If anyone sees it for $40, jump on it.
I think that's the price I got mine for.
Only thing I disliked about the mouse was the usb receiver interferes with my BT dongle.

Laptop mouse is fine for me in the past 2 years.

it's light and it saves space...I care less about the palm support. I prefer a gel pad for my wrist.

the arc mouse feels perfectly fine in my hands. the vx nano feels almost exactly like the cheaper v220. there are probably tons of mice as comfortable as the nano but don't cost close to $100. then again, i guess it depends on your priorities. i just think spending $100 on a laptop mouse is a little excessive when you can hook up a laptop to a monitor and use a real desktop set if you're going to be working that long. don't think i would want to stare at my 13" laptop screen for more than an hour or two anyways

^ sale prices ftw. it's $90 right now, which is about on par for a quality laser mouse. the rest of your comment makes no sense.

i guess it's ur personal taste then. good thing their packagings are all moulded so you can fit your hand over them.

i got my stuff cheap tho. vx nano was $50 @ncix, and mx3200 was only 39.99 during a price error. but after using them i'd totally shell out MSRP for them. just wait for a sale and buy the good stuff then.
