For people who have no experience with a real private tracker please don't ever compare Demonoid with any real private tracker. Just because Demonoid requires an invite doesn't automatically mean it's a private tracker per say.

RevTT is way better then Demonoid with pre times, speed,a nd quality. Sure Demonoid does have a pretty big selection but when lots of the shiet is pretty bunk who cares. Plus on RevTT you can make requests for stuff that's not on there which usually gets filled anyways.

You need to keep your download to upload ratio as close to 1:1 as possible (obviously more is better). If you download far more than you upload, you get kicked off the site.

For private sites there is usually only 1 main rule which is to keep your ratio at a certain amount. In most cases it's around a 1:1 ratio. Other general rules are basic like don't post racist comments and shiet like that. For almost all of them it also doesn't matter if you download everyday or twice a month. Only certain sites like SuperTorrents will delete your account if there has been no activity for like 90 days or something.

For anybody who wants to sign up but isn't sure just do it. Oppurtunities to get into a solid private site don't come freely all the time so just get in there and get it.

For anybody who is worried about the whole ratio thing. Rev TT does allow you to donate to buy upload ratio. They also constantly have doubel offer specials where you pay ex amount but get double the upload credit then normal and no it isn't a rip like $10 for 1gig of upload. It's more then fair and the doubel offers are even sweeter which happen like every 2 weeks or so.

P.S. Rev TT is good but I love TL better haha and Torrentbytes is pretty kick ass too.

One of the main things though is there are always people who are not willing to seed and will only leech. If that's the case either use news groups, buy everything retail, make people burn everything for them, stream, or learn to seed!

Well if your upload speed sucks you gotta be a bit smarter about it. First you gotta know which movies and tv shows etc will get you the most action. TV shows can get your ratio up pretty crazy and especially when your on a crazier private site like Torrent Leech way more people download for a long time vs Rev TT which is still small in comparison.

Another trick and this is cheap but works wonders is download the same torrent from another private site, preferably a crappy one you don't care much about or one you have that has free leech which can keep your ratio up. Then after you download it you go to the site where you want to bump it, down the same torrent and you will have wasted zero download and everything will be upload.

No, really it isn't that hard. I by no means have a crazy upload speed. My download speed is 600K and my upload is like 80k tops but won't usually get that. How I usually survive is to just be smart about what to download plus it helps that I'm at the computer pretty frequently.

I mean my ratios are as follows

Torrent Leech 300GB upload / 50GB download = 6.0 ratio
TorrentBytes 600GB upload / 165 download = 3.6 ratio
Rev TT 300 GB upload / 150 GB download = 2.0
SuperTorrents 118 GB upload / 67 GB download = 1.7

Although I can upload up to about 80k which isn't even fast I usually only avg like 40 yet can still easily maintain a good ratio.

Shit, I registered for TL on 2005-03-01, almost 4.5 years later, I've downloaded 1.27TB, ahah. My ratio is at 0.804. I kinda slacked off on the seeding once I realized it'd take forever to fix my ratio :lol

I find the hardest tracker to maintain ratio on is What.CD. My ratio there is 1.2 but that's with some REALLY careful selection of downloads, hence why I need supplementary music sites like Waffles and STMusic.

Yes and I'll tell you why.

While the new releases come out a bit faster on TL and Rev TB has something both of them don't. That is their Music, movies, tv shows, games, and anime packs section are always free leech. Think about that for a second, download a 30 GB movie back on lets say TL or REV TT would most likely kill your ratio and in some cases the packs are even bigger. TB recgonizes that so they make ALL packs free leech. With that said, your ratio is impossible to be shitty on TB only unless you want it to be. Everytime it goes down I just download some packs to raise it back up. I randomly download 4 packs a month ago and already got over 100GB uoload off of them.

Woob - maybe 1 more haha. I have more then 1 for my own reasons as I used them all for different things and there's some strategy I use for uploading / downloading. For example a new movie I want comes out. I happen to be on vacay or something and by the time I come back it has been seeded into the ground and downloading it will basically give me no upload because every ones grabbed it already. In that case I won't download it from TL or Rev TT but would probably grab it from Torrent Bytes because I can always make up for the upload with free leech if I choose too.

Razor Ramon - holy fuck over TB. I can't compete with that amount still got a long way to go. Although if you combine all mine I have over 1tb Upload lol.

IMO Torrent Leech hands down. The only thing I like about Rev TT more is that you can buy upload credit if it ever has to come to that where as TL it's all on you.

TL has more stuff and WAY more users leeching thus making it way easier to upload.

To give you an idea the most snatched Rev TT movie sits at 14,000 people snatched.

The highest TL movie snatched right now sits at 390,000 people snatched with #2 and a bunch so on sitting at over 100,000. Think about how much longer you can upload something and how much easier it is to maintain a good ratio.

IMO though it's always best to have more then 1 private site as you never know what will happen to one and hey it never hurts to have more.

Yes when I first registered way back I also started with some free upload amount. I don't remember the exact amount but it was something like 1.8 it sounds about right.

Also if anybody ever plans to buy upload ratio from Rev TT always wait until they have the double offer first which they do as we speak. It shouldn't ever come to the point where you need to donate but if you do wait for the offer. Trust me the offer appears like every week or 2 and lasts for a good few days.

TL is the best no question about it. I've been a member for 4 years now it has everything you need except porn, but they do have a sister BT site which got you covered. The speed on that site is insane but make sure you follow the rules on keeping a good ratios because getting a invite to TL is pretty difficult.

Getting a TL invite actually isn't too difficult given you know where to look. There are plenty of Torrent Invite sites like Revscene where people post free invites all the time. However, anything private site ranked higher then TL good luck.

Yes you will get banned. That said although there are Torrent Invite forums where you can get free invites you usually need to put a slight effort into it. A newly registered user with o posts asking for an invite probably won't get one. However, the effort is minimal still. I got mine through the site and my rev tt as well.

If your upload speed is that low, your best bet is to donate to the site for upload credits. Either that, or leave your computer seeding 24/7 for a while before downloading anything else.

What movies did you download? Did you make sure these weren't releases that have been out for a good few days already and nobody is really even leeching it anymore. Because if that's the case your fucked without buying some credit. Rev TT although a decent site has way too little users and if that movie has been leeched the shiet out of already then it's pretty much impossible to get a 1:1 out of it even if you leave it 24/7.

All is well. The partial seeding on Dirt 2 for 360 worked really well and im back to 0.6 and climbing vs 0.3 yesterday. Just gotta let it go for a while and yeah. I've learned my lesson and have to dl fresh things often and save up to DL sth big if it isnt popular.

i downloaded from tracker A and its 100% complete and now seeding to tracker A. How do i use this file and seed it to tracker B? (w/o downloading it from tracker B..so seeding to both A and B)
