Recently, my WRT54GL flashed with DD-WRT has been restarting itself on average 1-2 times per day.

Does that mean its reaching the end of its life?

I've had it for 2 years now, I think.

DD-WRT is configured to reboot once a day by default, to keep things fresh. You can change the settings.
