I'm sure someone has a review but I decide to do a new one. There are so many Hot Pot places, Cattle, Chubby Lamb, Sun Tung Kee, Shabu, etc, but I haven't been to HKYK before so i decided to try it out.
It was actually pretty darn good. The variety is huge and the soup base was pretty decent. I did enjoy the food however their beef was a bit lacking.

The 'almond tea' was actually pretty darn good and everything was decent. The only draw back I didnt' like was that they were super under staffed so getting attention was close to impossible. I've been to chubby Lam before and food is decent however, I enjoyed it there more because it's such a small place, getting service was a lot easier.

That's the place that serves dim sum at night right? If yes then yeah they're extremely understaffed or at least it felt that way as it took us several tries just to get a refill on our tea. Our first pot wasn't washed properly, there was still some of that left over foam shit u get from cooking meat, and it took over 10 mins to get a new pot. After that our table's power went off several times and in general made our whole experience bad.
But really I went for the dim sum.

That place looks dirty; especially their washroom. Service was shitty too. Overall shitty, except for the price.

ying kay rocks. awesome selection of food for the price and I like to hotpot in a roomy area.

service sucks though, there is a few waitress that are quite good once you went there enough times you will know who. otherwise to get service you just have to be really honger ie, being loud and rude.
