Just picked that up yesterday from long and mcquade for $589 plus tax. Used a price match from canada Computerd but it looks like the prce is gone up on there site.

this place has it for $599 can (look at the right side)

Be a real DJ and pick up a set of Technic 1200s and a shitty ass mixer to start. If you can spin on a set of junk, you can definitely upgrade later and do better with newer/nicer gear. Next thing you know, you'll beat out Armin and Tiesto and have them shine your shoes.

the thing with dj equipment is that the prices are pretty much standard all across the board. Nothing ever goes on sale, not even on boxing day/xmas time. Your best bet to find cheaper equipment would be to go used, try craigslist, there is always some djs looking to get rid of their equipment. I always go to TomLee though for new equipment, they are much more knowledgeable than L&M i find, and can always order in equipment they don't have pretty quickly.

my original question in this thread was to find sites that sell used equipment similar to craigslist as the set i want, i have seen them go for 500 used or so

thanks for the input htough
