I guess you have to be a DJ to understand how much skill he had. What people like Girl Talk do in the studio he would do it live on the fly with just 2 turntables and a mixer.

One of my all time favorite mixes.

I'm aware of what he can do. I've also seen ~50 different dj's in the past 2 years I've worked in a nightclub, including AM. I know whats up =)

Is this the same guy who narrowly survived a plan crash not too long ago?

Way to use up your second chance at life :lol

He was also a recovering drug addict who was dealing with post traumatic stress disorder from the plane crash and had recently been dumped by his gf which sorta pushed him over the edge.

This wasnt really his second chance at life. It was his third. While he was still a drug addict he put a loaded gun in his mouth and pulled the trigger but it didnt go off.

Wow... his song selection for back in 2005 is pretty crazy.. Sure now its not uncommon to hear them mixing rock music in with everything else but back then you never really heard that much..
