I got a new GeForce 9800 GTX+ about 9 months ago. When I run my games the screen turns funny (there is a picture attached) I also get a nvlddmkm error. I am running Vista at the moment.
seem like either your card is overheating or in the process of dieing. I have something like this happen to me to my gtx 280. Lucky i was able to RMA it to get another one. Take the card out and clean it up see if that help.
As for nvlddmkm error, vista is very picky on ram.. most of time that error occur because you have a faulty ram stick. you're best would be test each of those ram stick one by one.
