Question, the duty free store at the peace arch. are you able just to drive down there and purchase liquor without crossing the border??

you have to cross the border once you make a purchase at the duty free.

that's what i thought but at the peace arch once u cross back theres a little parking lot. whats to stop you from walking across and buying something and driving home?
is it like the airport where u actually take possession of your goods on the other side?
