Hello,
The car is in perfect working condition, it doesn't have any dents, chips or scratches and the interior is like new, it is a non smoker car. All the maintenance has been done on a regular basis. It's accident-free and has a clean and clear title. The total price that I 'm asking for the car including shipping to your door is $20,300.00. I am selling it because I've moved back to Spain after my divorce and importing it here is not an option because of the high taxes involved. The car is currently in Halifax in custody of a shipping company, ready to be delivered to its new owner.
I would like to use eBay Vehicle Protection Program a third party service to handle this transaction for our own safetyt.
If you are still interested just send me your full name and shipping address, phone# and I will open a case at eBay.
Thank you,
Maria

you listed a M3 for sale thought, this is not. HOwever the price justify's it, seems like a good deal. Is this canadian or us import?
Plus diesel was never offered in Canada, i really want the car, but just making sure it uses gasoline and not diesel.

Hahaha that wasn't as good as of a deal i found....
I was looking for an acura tl earlier this year and i found one for 12000 with 20k's on it. No accidents and on top of that it was a typeS, same story and i just screwed around with the person saying i was interested but i wasn't.
good luck finding one though, i found an 2002 325ci for 16thousand though, so i was lucky i found a good deal, no accidents.
good luck on youre car search though.

Damn scammers. I wonder who actually falls for these.
You'd be surprised. I've already stopped 2 people from buying one of these scams, and they had totally no clue it was a scammer.
They both went to me asking what I thought about the car and if they should buy it since it was such a good deal.
I just straight up said "NO, it's a scammer"
Both mentioned the "eBay Vehicle Protection Program", I think thats what gets people thinking they're secure.
i'm surprised no one blamed the canada line for this yet.

when someone gives too much info in an ad, usually its an elaborate excuse.
like talking about your divorce, or when they want to buy your item because their only child went to university overseas and really wanted it as a bday present...

LOL in the e-mail before she told me the car was automatic
But in the autotrader ad it was a manual
Also told me it was AWD...

you forgot to censor out your email address philip1019@live.ca in the 3rd email.
meh... this traveling excuse happens all the time. i wanted to rent a place in Richmond and the landlord was "traveling to Africa on a mission in the name of Jesus", then i wanted to buy a car and the woman (Brenda) who got it from her divorce settlement is located in Quebec and wanted to use the EBay Vehicle Protection Program.
notice how they're always "women" sellers/buyers.

You know what's bad is when you're selling stuff (local sale) and they say they'll forward you the funds from Africa, then ask you for your credit card # so they can stick the funds into your account.

If there's a new car model, then people can discuss about the new car model... if someone posts about a riced out car, then people can discuss about that particular riced out car...
But in this case, there is nothing to discuss about this particular scammer... there's nothing to differentiate this scammer apart from the thousands of other scammers on Craigslist. There's nothing unique about "Maria" or anything in the emails... it's your standard Craigslist scams that goes on day in and day out.

When I used to work for ebay, I got all these ppl that got jacked for this.. I know it was stupid of them to go through it but also felt bad for them... someone's gotta teach these guys a lesson haha...
