Hey guys,

I'm looking at a car at a dealership called Luxor Motors, I'm not really sure what to think of this place - places like this always make me nervous, do any of you have any feedback on this place?

Thanks

They used to be Miracle Auto Sales....it's a miracle they're still in business...

I test drove a M3 there before, the car didn't feel right, and the radio fell out while I was driving!

About a yaer ago I was interested in an Integra they had, bumpers and fenders were misaligned and mileage was rolled back. None of their cars are accident free even though they say they are. Also I used to deliver parts there a few years ago, they mostly ordered shit like liquid weld and seam sealer..

just do a search under "miracle auto sales"... i remember many stories that have been shared in the past about this place :(

having said that, i've posted myself of how my friend bought his M3 from this place and despite being an out-of-province car (not east coast thankfully) it turned out to be very decent. but he seems to be an exception.

I was looking at a Qx4 from them, VERY attractive pricing they gave me a car fax with nothing on it, so when I went home my friend said something's not right.

we did a online car fax and it had 4 major accidents it was basically edited out

No, dont go there. I deal with them before. I did a test drive with one of the s2k, the guy said the car is mint and runs like a new car before i head out for test drive. The car stalls about 2 blocks away and will not start again until awhile later.

Went into Luxor to look at 3 of s2000s they had in the lot and:

1. four rims curbed, missing a chunk of rim on one of them, and a misaligned rear bumper
2. rusting rear fender and paint badly chipped off the edges of driver door
3. modded, chips of edge door again, misaligned fenders/bumpers

After looking at all 3 cars not one salesman came to help me. Office door was wide open, no one in it. I wouldn't even bother wasting my time test driving any of them

They used to be called Best Import Auto, they recently changed their name. I bought a car from best import and It was not a pleasant experience, The car I ended up buying had quite a few issues and was in a serious collision.

i can't find the link, but i think best import was reviewed by W5 when they did their annual undercover used car lot checks. many of their cars are accident repair or rebuilt status, which they did disclose, however they would try to downplay the damage as minor.

lexington motors and best import auto are not the same people, best import are crooks, they moved to kingsway where they are still selling rebuilt junk.
I bought from lexington, they have some sweet rides, and they were on the W5
show as well with excellent reviews. I would definitely buy from these guys again.

Quoting the APA 2012-2013 Investigation,

"9. Lexington Auto

4290 Halifax St, Burnaby
PASS
2011 Ford Fiesta with 29,000 km $14,495
2011 Nissan Versa with 48,000 km $14,595
Extra fees: $295, on top of the selling price

Good selection of vehicles. The Versa and Fiesta are clean, B.C. cars. The inventory at this dealership was in the best overall condition seen during the investigation. The selection included Honda Accords and Civics, some Toyotas, Ford cars and trucks, and a Fiat 500. Knowledgeable salesperson who accurately disclosed the history of the vehicles she was selling. The dealer permits an inspection at a location chosen by the buyer."

It boggles my tiny mind that people still consider dealing with fly-by-night car dealerships. It's like considering petting a barking, frothing-at-the-mouth pit bull and wondering if it will bite.

Went by Luxor the other day; Had the guy take me on a test drive in a 95 integra. He said that the car had no issues, but you could clearly hear the cv shafts were damaged.
