Drove by the gas station on canada way and edmonds. at the mohawk a car drove into one of the pumps LOL, whole station on fire. closed down canada way going west bound and edmonds going north bound.

BURNABY (NEWS1130) - A dramatic scene at a Burnaby gas station this afternoon has ended safely. Corporal Jane Baptista from the Burnaby RCMP says a Honda Civic jumped the curb, crashing into two gas pumps and exploding into flames at the Mohawk station at Edmonds and Canada Way.

She says someone pumping gas was able to jump out of the way of the car, and amazingly nobody was injured. "This is not a common occurrence at all, and very very lucky indeed that no one was hurt."

RCMP are now investigating how the vehicle ended up crashing into the gas station, no charges have been laid.

canada way and edmonds is a shitty interection for making left turns... too many people playing chicken with oncoming traffic or trying to beat the light. it was only a matter of time. at least the fire station is right on edmonds just a few blocks away.

at least he got to save his putter from the fire! :lol
