A friend of mine found a killer deal in Seattle however it is salvage titled.
Car looks fine, runs fine; and its currently insured in Seattle.
He is trying to import the vehicle to vancouver, and heres the question.

If he import it to canada and register from ICBC, would the vehicle status will turn out "Rebuilt" ? or will it be "NORMAL" status?

have your buddy read this or maybe give RIV a call. I'm assuming it would be rebuilt status but don't quote me on that.

If the status changed from salvage/rebuild to normal simply by bringing it across the border we would definitely have a problem lol

Last spring, I was looking at this US imported M3, and on the regis. paper it didnt show any rebuilt/salvage status but when i checked it upon carfax it was "salvage title"

i was 5minutes away to buy a US Salvage titled e46 m3 for 29g..
