A4 becuase it's Audi, and Audi is awesome... and it's awesome because it has quatrro, and quattro is awesome.

Now put some new wheels on it, lower it... there you go, now you have a very nice car.

here's something out of left field... what about a 2009 cadillac 3.6L CTS SIDI AWD?

i just did quick google: http://autos.yahoo.com/2009_cadillac_cts_3.6l_sidi_awd/

i thought i saw a 1/2 page ad (dueck GM?) in the vancouver sun on sale for $39-40k for an old stock 2009 (i think they are clearing it out for 2010 models?).

Definately Audi..

is250 awd is the biggest pile of shit i've ever driven..

it struggles to climb up garglardi on my test drive (with only two people in the car), and the engine is LOUD and THRASHY... A 4cylinder TSX makes a more pleasant 'noise' when the engine is under heavy load..

WRONG.

Audi are for Cocks.

Lexus are for Boring people.

Don't you watch Top Gear?

My opinion, get a Lexus because its probably more reliable. If you wish to sell the car after a few years then get an Audi cuz you can chip the damn thing and run overboost. Fried your turbo a lot quicker but its the next owner's problem right?

What he said. Depends on what your plan for the car is. If you plan on financing/buying it out right and keeping it for a while, I'd go for the Lexus for the reliability. I like the Audi more, but they are known for being unreliable. If you are leasing, go for the Audi.

LED looks good on R8, and maybe A4 for a while, but now they are putting it on A6, Porches,.and other ricer cars,..... its starting to look like the time when we had "Spinners" chrome rims. or the Altezza tail lights.

The Audi Quattro four-wheel-drive system sends power to all four tires, giving it significant off-road and road-gripping capabilities. A four-wheel-drive system typically only sends power to both car axles when a toggle on the driver's dashboard is engaged, sending power to just the rear axle the rest of the time. This is because with standard open and locking differentials, it is difficult for a vehicle to turn on flat road when four-wheel drive is engaged. The Audi Quattro has found a way around this turning problem and developed a system that sends power to all four wheels all of the time. Technically, such a vehicle is labeled an all-wheel drive.

The structure of the Quattro four-wheel drive begins with the transmission. Ordinarily, four-wheel-drive cars feature a drive-transfer case with two drive shafts leading to differentials sitting between both the rear and front axle. Audi's version, however, does not have a drive-transfer case. In its place is a Torsen differential, from which extend two drive shafts. Each of those connects to a Torsen differential on each of the vehicle's axles.

Power passes through all three Torsen differentials to the wheels equally when the Audi Quattro is driving on a straight, smooth surface. The power is divided when there is more resistance on one wheel than another. For example, when the front passenger-side wheel edges off the road onto stiff gravel it puts more resistance against the wheel than the front driver-side wheel. This causes a shift in the power being sent to both wheels by the front-axle Torsen differential, sending more power to the driver-side wheel to compensate. Likewise, if both front wheels were to go off-road, the Torsen differential would send more power to the rear axle than the front.

Why would you get the A3 when you can get the A4?.......

!Aznboi128
09-12-2009, 07:50 AM
you can't compare SH-AWD to quattro, symmetrical awd, all of them are awesome

sh-awd can split the rear torque to the outside wheel when in a corner so it has tremendous grip.

search up the different awd on youtube and there's one that shows how the symmetrical awd system even with 1 wheel on "grip" it'll still pull

I love how everyone is saying the IS250 is sooooo slow and underpowered yet the Audi only has barely over 200hp as well..... they're putting the same power down.

I drove a regular IS250... it's not fast but it's not super slow either, geez, you guys are harsh and most of you probably drive slower cars than a IS250 so grains of salt... grains of salt...

That's old info, since 2009 the A3 has been quattro... it's only FWD if you get the 6-speed manual.

That said, the A3 is TINY inside.
