Just curious as to why i received an infraction after being an member here since 2001. i was a bit surprised to get one and i still don't understand how they're handed out and why i received one.
the only thing i can think of is (after reading that forum section's B&S Rules, it appears that people can sell anything if they have less than 25 posts). If that is the case of my infraction, how is it that me posting up on the seller's thread an infraction? Insight would be nice as i'm a bit shocked that i got one. Thanks SG, or anyone else who can chime in.
PS - don't think that i'm mad or anything either. i know that the mod is doing his/her job. i just want to know why and i'm confused as to the PM i received regarding it. Dear Mashimaro,

I'm no mod, but I there is a sticky with the B&S rules, it says only the original poster can post on the thread. So any Q's, request for pics, or asking them out need to be done through PM.
I can't find the exact post, but CRS made one a little while back about this.

the issue is that my posting in that thread is considered bumping. i was confused because the pm stated: "Refrain from posting in threads that are not your own!"
Anyways, i'm not knocking anyone as i know how hard it is to moderate at times being a VCC admin myself.
