Just wondering how I got an IP ban? When I log into RS I get this message:

"vBulletin Message

Sorry. The administrator has banned your IP address. To contact the administrator click here"

However, I haven't done anything wrong so I'm wondering why it says I got IP baned? I'm going through a different IP right now and it works fine... so I don't think it was something I did that got my IP banned?

nothing you did wrong. the only infraction you had was reversed actually.

So I'm at home on my pc right now, logged into RS obviously. I went on my n97 earlier through opera mini to access RS while using data on the Fido network and I get the same message about the IP being banned. I sent a message to the admins but is this a common error happening?

Im "IP banned" when i browse off my phone too. Im also using a N97.

When browsing on a phone, your browsing is done via a proxy server which suggests that the IP of the proxy server was banned and not "you" per se.

Perhaps the admin can take a look into this.
