I'm glad it worked out, but like somebody else already said, he put everybody else's lives at risk by doing that.

That old man probably didn't weigh more than 150lbs, and if that thief wasn't such a wuss, he could have easily wrestled the old man off and gone ape shit on everybody else in there.

There are always risks involved in a situation like this. How can bravery be defined if saying that having too much risk involved = stupidity? I'd say he is a brave man, especially because he initiated the attack without involving anyone else. Poor judgment, you might say, but judging by the outcome of this incident, his choice definitely wasn't a wrong one.

bravery isnt putting others in harms way, sorry

sure he could put himself at risk like crazy, thats brave but not when u risk the lives of others

if the crook was pointing a gun at everyone and he stood if front of the tellers and said "if u have to shoot someone shoot me but end it there" that'd be brave
