not a whole lot actually....but if you venture into port moody there are a few good hiding spots in the forests....buntzen lake, white pine beach, belcarra park...you can also venture over to rocky point a rent out a sailboat, kayak or canoe and rip around the inlet...

also up the street from the best western is a foggy dew, that place is packed full of slutty girls on weekends...lol

Coquitlam Centre is much better than Lougheed. There's some hiking trails on the north side of Coquitlam. Eaglequest for a pitch and putt. There's really not much to do.

coquitlam is fucking huge... 152km^2
near lougheed, ur closer to the city life
malls, movie theatre, blvd. casino with red robinson show theatre , bowling, planet ice
theres Sports centre in Porier

at port moody(attached of coquitlam), there's all the beaches, lake Buntzen, Belcarra, Whitepine as mentioned above

if u come to westwood plateau area, there is eagle mountain prov. park(nothing much), and also westwood plateau golf/country club (one of the best in canada)

there is evergreen cultural center, right beside percy stadium and towncentre park, right beside Lafarge lake, skate park also across the street is the aquatic centre and city hall, library, police station and coquitlam centre mall.

etc. its pretty much a lot of nature stuff though.

and coquitlam mall and lougheed mall are pretty much the same thing.

The parks in Port Moody are only open until 9pm though. After that they get gated shut and locked with the parks guys roaming around every now and then.

If you're close to Lougheed Mall then you can jump on the skytrain and have access to most of the Greater Vancouver area. Downtown Vancouver is only 30 minutes away by sktrain. You also have access to Metrotown, Commercial Drive, Yaletown, Cambie Street, and Richmond.

Down by United Boulevard (near Ikea), there's the Casino, Eaglequest exec 9 hole course and driving range. There's a Silvercity by the Superstore and a new bowling alley somewhere behind the Silvercity.

Maybe its time for another tri-city meet.

Yeah it was packed last night. There's other pubs in Coquitlam like The Point.

Foggy Don't blows

I stopped going after they put up a "dress code" and also started charging for cover. ( that was what, 3 years ago ?)

That and continually having the bouncers clog up the line making people think it was busy inside, but really its dead.

dress code = no dress code (they never follow it)
and they have no cover. just donations for coat check

we were watching a hockey game at 5pm or so, then at 7pm bouncer walks over and says to our table, hats and hoodies off at and at coat check or else...

unimpressed to say the least
