Export hours at Blaine Vehicle export are from 8:00am to 3:30pm Monday - Friday. What is the best time within those hours where the wait is shortest?
It would be most helpful if you post, time, day of the week, and month.

Thanks.

When I imported my 04 CLK500 I brought it back around 10am on a Wednesday. I didn't have to wait in the line since I use nexus, but I'd estimate the line up was about 15mins at truck crossing and about 10mins coming back.

Inside the Canadian customs was about a 20min wait.

Keep in mind this was about 2 years ago i imported.

monday at 9am, american side no wait, as u park up close to the canadian border, and then just sneak back in the lane.
had longer wait inside the canadian customs office.. 20 min,
ur pretty safe during any weekday except friday..

thanx for the responses. I'm not too worried about car lining up to cross the border, just office wait times. I'm wondering if 2pm-3pm would be a super long wait or if i should wait til the next day early morning.

Earlier the better. I'm waiting on my 3 days right now too.

I just got back from importing my vehicle. Weds, 8:05am.

US customs -waited in line for 4 mins, gave them my title, waited 1 minute, they stamped it

Canadian border -no car line up, declared that i was importing car, officer sent me inside, spend 20 mins filling form 1, paying duty, taxes etc

RIV - walked there from canadian border - 2mins, showed them form 1, they sent it to Toronto for confirmation, payed for RIV 15 mins

Total 35mins but majority of the time was doing admin stuff.

All staff and officers say that early morning is usually best but it varies. Sometimes theres even a rush in early morning.
