Last time I heard, they're not sending people to Depot until after the Olympics.

Hopefully they are still hiring after next fall as that is when I am getting my BA in Criminology.

i was talking with my recruiter. and he says that the RCMP will NEVER stop needing recruits.. they will just decrease the number they need... This year they are pulling approx 2500, he said next year expect maybe half that... and then the year after that, expect it to bump a little with the number of officers that are retiring.. your just going to have to be a little more "competitive"

Watch what happens after the Olympics are over. Expect major retirements and lots of vacancies to fill.
