: Undercover Police Fail

Saturday September 26 2009: Three undercover officers attempt to infiltrate a March Against Police Brutality at the University of Pittsburgh, but fail miserably due to their horrendous disguise attempts. During the march, one of them breaks a photographer's camera. This is just one example of a larger pattern of attempts to silence the media during the G20 protests.

just chaperoning a bunch of kids, thats all they're doing... i dont think they failed at all if all they have to do is watch a bunch of bored people march on sidewalks.

i was waiting for a car to pull up and they pull someone into it... oh well, next video.

Maybe i'm not grasping the magnitude of this video (if there is any), but to me, it just seems like whomever uploaded the video was just reaching for anything to use to slander the police. 1 guy says a cop broke his flash on his camera. We don't see it happen though. We're suppose to take his word for it? I'm not for or against what their march is about. Me personally, I need something more substantial than fingerpointing to believe what some guy says in a video.

Like I said, the guy who uploaded the video, I think he's just reaching.

The cops behaved quite accordingly, IMO.

The damn kids at the G20 protests were so dumb. They had designated protest zones and no protest zones. The students went into the no protest zone and acted like they didn't know what they were doing wrong (they did) when they got driven back by the police. Typical bullshit.

i dont see whats wrong here, 3 officers (if in fact they are?) just doing there job and some skinny jeaned emo-fuck who would call the police at the very first chance if someone stole his trendy fixed gear bike, says one broke his camera?
i could see there being an issue if one of them decided they had enough of bullshit college students who think they know everything and started busting skulls. but thats not the case, so move along

if they were undercover, that guy wouldn't know. If anything they would've been there to distract from the real undercovers.

What kind of slogan is "fuck the police"? You're never gonna convert people to your cause with shit like that. Come on now. The only fail is these protesters. I'd love to see how long those hippies would last without the police.

Revscene is truly full of fucking stupid people! If it weren't for activists like the ones in the video, who try to keep government tyranny at bay-we would not be living the way we do. When citizens abstain from their responsibility to keep the government in check (meatheads such as the guys quoted above) governments always revert to authoritarianism- it is the human condition. People in power (of the government), absent the check and balance-will intrude into the lives of the citizenry by whatever means accessible to amass ever more power. This is what happened in fascist Germany and Italy. The People failed to notice when the government broke the social contract. Step by step, the governments overrode existing rights of the people- forcing active citizens to protest in "zones" - in areas where few people could see them. By infiltrating and fragmenting unions and other social activist groups (i.e. Universities). They then pitch certain groups against others to dispose rivals and to amass ever more control over society. In Germany, the Nazi's targeted the Jews (Jews and Germans peacefully coexisted for hundreds of years before the WW). When they were finished with the Jews, they targeted gays and lesbians, then people who were deemed "unfit"-people with any kind of sickness or disability, etc. When they (the Nazis) finished with all the "Yahoos and Hippies and useless people," they then attacked the Poles. When their powers became absolute at home they declared themselves to be the rightful rulers and everyone else the enemy. What we must understand is that the Nazis didn't really care about the Jews or the Poles, what they wanted was POWER. Powerful people always seek more power, always. That is why the Founding Fathers of the United States designed a system of government with multiple checks and balances-they understood that without such checks, the most benevolent leader, if given the opportunity would become a dictator. Freedom of Speech is in the Constitution precisely because of this. This Right was given to the People so they could voice their concerns without fear of persecution whenever the government steps out-of-line. Because of this Amendment, the US Federal government can't stifle activists, but they have learned ways to circumvent this- they quarantining the activists. They do this by authorizing "protest zones," usually in areas where there is little traffic and far from the very people/groups/companies whom the activists are protesting against. If activists are forced to protest in designated areas where they can't be seen and heard then WTF is the point of protesting!!?!! These concerned citizens are constantly fighting a two way battle: one against the party of interest and second-dumbfuck "Yahoos" like the guys quoted earlier. These meatheads (and their ilk) are not only abstaining from their responsibility to be informed and active citizens, they're out-right hostile to the very people who are keeping democracy and liberty alive!

All you haters of activists (Greenpeace, Critical Mass, etc) should really consider moving to the United States under Bush/Republican rule. Over there, activists are squashed like bugs! Literally! Police forces there are armed with unlimited supplies of bear mace, tazars, and other weapons to deal with these troublesome interlopers! Woot woot! In the Land of the Free, Undesirables (such as those unruly Muslims, or those who look like one) are rendtioned by the CIA to far away places, tortured, and held indefinitely! And this can be done without any evidence of wrong-doing whatsoever! Corporations can knowingly use toxic chemicals in their products and destroy entire ecosystems with immunity! They even save on PR because they know their buddies in the government will shut up any and all nosy citizens! :D Why worry about human rights, the destruction of our planet, and other silly stuff when you have much more important things to do!- like shopping and watching the Canucks on PPV! Duh!

LOL, why do I bother, this is Revscene. I bet 90+% the members don't even remember the last time they picked up a book LOL. :haha:
