After far too long a hiatus it's back! 8)
UBCSCC has a rich heritage of rallying since the clubs inception in the '50s when it launched the Thunderbird Rally - an event still held to this day by the West Coast Rally Association (one of many clubs full of UBCSCC alumni).

Although our first rally won't be on snow covered roads, it will still be a challenging social event that our executive team hopes will whet your appetite for the series of rallies to follow. I can tell you from experience, what starts with a navigational rally can soon lead to this:

Consider yourselves warned!
So what's the deal with this first event?
Where: We will be launching from Spanish Banks (http://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&source=s_q&hl=en&geocode=&q=spanish+banks+loop&sll=49.276642,-123.216519&sspn=0.001932,0.002945&ie=UTF8&t=h&ll=49.276541,-123.215522&spn=0.003864,0.009978&z=17)
When:: Car Zero leaves at 19:30, that means you and your navi should be there around 19:00 to get your information package and set your clock to rally time. As well as socialize with/trash talk your friends/competitors.
What: A TSD rally starting from Spanish Banks that will take you and your victim(s)/codriver(s) to the North Shore through a number of areas including the British Properties.
How: That's depends on how good a listener you are and how good a guide your navi is, but ultimately we will be ending at Park Royal (http://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&source=s_q&hl=en&geocode=&q=2002+Park+Royal+South,+West+Vancouver&sll=49.301509,-123.143864&sspn=0.061789,0.094242&ie=UTF8&ll=49.327024,-123.14558&spn=0.015439,0.023561&t=h&z=15&iwloc=A) shopping center, where you can grab some food and trade stories of your superior driving exploits.
Why: Because it's a kick ass fun social automotive event and you are a car person! Oh and there will prizes and sweet participation stickers (and I hear select participants might even get a hug from Stenhouse!) - what more do you want for 15bux! Which brings me to...
Cost: $15 per vehicle (bring as many navigators as you want - I suggest you bring the equivalent number of sickness bags though )
