| Losing License
I'm losing my license due to a "bad driving record" (didn't know 2 speeding tickets in a points period that were clocked at 4 am on a deserted street made you a bad driver). So instead of being a self righteous douchebag in my letter to ICBC on why I should keep my license that I despertly need for work/school (i work 2 jobs, and have a 30 minute time period to travel inbetween work) what's the best and most humblest thing I can write to try to keep my license?
Also I've had several friends who have been through this, and they claim they never had to pay this 100 dollar fee... infact they said they will not process my appeal without it. Is this new?

This question has been asked before and you may wish to use search. Quote:

| The fees are shown here: http://www.pssg.gov.bc.ca/osmv/information/fees.htm
It looks like the review costs $100, but I don't know when they started that.

How come my friend woh got a letter on a later date doesn't have to pay and makes no mention in his notice? I'm not on a new driver program here and I have my class 5 and find it unusual after 2 speeding tickets they want to take it away.
and it was deserted. drive down 4 road at 3:30 am, and there was a cop sitting at the cadets place.

So the speed limits only apply when you think nobody is around? "It's nice to be the King". To mis-quote Whoopie Goldburg...it's not like this is a "speed-speed" ?

What were the two speeding tickets for? It was under my impression that two excessive speeding tickets = possible suspension? Going 40km+ over speed limit vs 10 km over is a big difference in the eyes of the system.

ya are they just speeding tickets or excessive speeding
i think if they were just two speeding tickets and you have class five ... you shouldn't be suspended (unless of course you have other offenses other than speeding)
but if you have excessive speeding then i guess it's logical they might want to suspend you ~
probably just a 3 month suspension?
take it as a lesson learnt and dont speed (at least dont EXCESSIVE speed / or dont get caught) hm ... haha

Were your two tickets excessive speeding? Never heard of anyone losing their license over two regular speeding tickets.
