It's too long to be placed as an on screen note, and most anime watchers already know what this term means. Translating the word would be meaningless. People just can't understand the fact that some things don't translate well from Japanese to English. It's not always because the translator sucks. Localized words and terminology are sometimes impossible to be explained with 2 lines of text.
