IIRC they are shooting a rocket that was attached to a satellite.
the rocket is gonna hit a crater making even a bigger crater and
soon after impact another "thingy" is gonna follow the exact path and that "thingy" collects particles (looking for frozen water or smthnig) before it crashes too.

they're shooting a rocket at 7x the speed of sound at the moon to see what lays underneath, a satelite will be transmitting data 40 or so minutes after the debris clears up a bit and soon after it'll crash into the moon itself.

They're looking for water, the crater has the lowest temperature ever recorded, colder than Pluto -238C (minus 396.4F). Good luck sending an operational rover down there.
