Vancouver Canucks' winger Daniel Sedin has suffered a broken left foot and will be sidelined for 4-6 weeks.

Sedin was hit on the foot with a shot in Wednesday's 7-1 win over the Montreal Canadiens.

He has been fitted with a cast and is using crutches to get around.

This season, Sedin has four assists in four games.

ouch

there goes the point discrepancy between both the sedins, Henrik is going to build a nice lead over Daniel.

Does this mean Shirokov is back up ?

Yup. 2 assist for Henrik tonightl.

And no, not Shirokov. He's gonna stay down in Manitoba for at least another week for some more icetime. 1 game in 8 days is not good for him if he was to stay up.
