To put in perspective a BMW 335 entry is around 50K, anything below this model, Merc or Bmw you cannot compare the performance capabilities with a WRX or STI.
Audi, 3rd in line when it comes to the German big 3, they look awesome but typical German car, own until the lease is up then give it back. Japanese cars in my point of view are far superior for long term low cost maintenance compared to German or domestic. German cars have more up to date technology etc. but this could cause more issues down the road especially when most techs cannot diagnose them. Trust me, I work on all makes and I know what keeps us in business,
Thank GM, Ford, Dodge, BMW, Audi etc.
I do not want to start a shit storm but its the truth.

stop shitting on the guys thread. 45k can't get you anything german comparable equipped with similar performance not to mention mods (but of course mods don't add to the price, just sayin).

Why can't aftermarket parts be added to the price. The parts are in as new condition and they are not Megan, Tein, rota etc. Probably close to $15k in mods. So I should post this car for stock price and give the parts away. I see pounded on EG/EK Hondas going for 10-12K, if they didn't factor in the mods they wouldn't be worth the price of scrap.
In most cases the guys flaming the price of posted vehicles are the same guys who take their date to Mickey Ds and go dutch. They will never drop the cash on a new car because their wallets are welded shut.

Holly shit thats a decent deal
rims plus tires along are $4500
KW v3 is $$$$$ $3g for the coils as well
Seeing you sell the 08' STi reminds me how you debate about how much caster angle you can dial in on the 08' vs 04-07. Sad to see you sell this, but why ? Thought u're Subaru fans forever man !
jason t
10-21-2009, 10:55 PM
Might keep it and add a type r, civic or miata to play around with. Beeb how do I know you, must be a Subie guy who knows all about caster:)
jason, yup, i'd my wrx since 01' and sold it last year, went to dales and met your foreman but u're off that day. And damn, you guys only dial in 0.75 degree camber for me in the back which I've a Cusco Zero 2-R coilover with pillow ball top. :D j/k
Anyhow, good luck in the sale ! I gave serious thought in picking up your a 08', but I'd need an SMG car for my wife. And i think Linkseal was looking at picking up yours too !

dude, mods do not account for a raise in value because the price YOU spent are your PERSONAL preference, not the buyers. a stock STI is probably worth more than your car that's been modded to shit.
This is common sense stuff and has been said million of times. Your little Advan, blitz mods mean $0. Part it out, you will never get asking price. GUARANTEED.

hey jason t,
good luck with your sale, awesome modded car. I can't believe someone hasn't jumped on it at your new price...great deal for buyer.
People who say performance mods do not add value to the car are guys looking to buy a modded car without paying extra for the mods. If you add quality wheels/tires, quality coilovers, exhaust, etc, they will add probably $.20 on the $1.00.
I just sold my heavily modded e46 M3 for approx. +$3K over stock m3. I spent $15K on it...so $0.20 on the dollar.
