It looks meh, but the whole RPG coop concept seems interesting
not a fan of the comic-esque graphics like the one in the recent Prince of Persia

Story

In the distant future, several colonization ships journey to Pandora, a planet on the edge of the galaxy. The colonists are drawn to the planet in search of a better life and the prospect of striking it rich by claiming the vast deposits of mineral resources rumored to be there. After finally arriving, the colonists discover that the planet is barren of anything of significant value other than deteriorated alien ruins scattered across the land. Those who can afford to do so leave Pandora, and those who remain devolve into chaos and lawlessness. Some of the settlers seek to get rich quick by discovering alien technology, but most others are just trying to survive. After seven Earth years, Pandora's orbit brings it to the transition from winter to spring, and many horrifying creatures emerge from hibernation.

I'm interested in the game. However, the release date for this game makes me uninterested. uncharted 2 just came out so I'll be at that for a bit until Modern Warfare 2 comes out next month. I just won't have the time for this game. Maybe when it's greatest hits haha.

My video card is Radeon x1900 series and the recommended for this game is x850.

Now I know the number is higher but I haven't kept up with computer products in so long I that they confuse me now.

Is x1900 better than x850?

yea man, and the fact that there are so many guns, you'll never get bored.

its not a steamworks game, thus it uses gamespy servers just create an account (i already had an account from bf2) there is no cdkey required for installing or creating an account :thumbsup:

loadtimes? it takes like 3-5 seconds between zones on my pc :confused:

its open ended to a degree but its boring if you just explore without doing the quests; many areas are blocked off if you dont do quests. also if you explore, chances are you will run into either monsters that are couple levels higher than you and they will devour you or the next area is blocked if you dont do the quest. but yeah it basically funnels you. still fun as hell though

What they need is a visible minimap, so you dont constantly have to press the back button/select button twice :mad:

HI! I'm new to this site. and sorry about posting on a old posting.. but I LOVE borderlands.
I finished play through 2 a few weeks ago and was really thinking about going through a play through 3. But I honestly didnt think i'll have the patience to do it all over again.
Play through 2 gets harder, you'll have to choose the option when your loading your game.
I just love the game cuz of all the guns and the fact that you can explore around and do some mindless killing when you want =] tee hee..

Borderlands 2 was officially announced on August 3rd, 2011. The expected release date is September 18, 2012 for the United States and September 21, 2012 Internationally. Borderlands 2 is being built on Unreal Engine 3

Borderlands 1 was one of the best games Ive ever played. Only thing I didnt like was the co-op, and the field of vision settings. Looks like Borderlands 2 will take care of both
