Any locals want to network and talk about investment oppurtunities? I'm interested in import and export, probably with asia with interests in online sales and web marketing. Would like to meet same minded individuals to spark some ideas and maybe put something forward.

Well maximum and minimum.
Do you have a business plan or anything? Or is it just random ideas on paper. Do you have any experience in import/export? Do you have any business experience at all?

there are so many networking events going on in vancouver - look into meetup.com or whatever it is - tonnes of stuff going on

Okay, this thread is an example of failsauce and you know it's bad especially when Ulic ridicules it. Come up with a business plan first and then find your investors...but not on here.
